Malware Gallery (Beta)
The Malware Gallery is an ongoing public project that I diligently maintain in my free time. It focuses on significant malware instances, specifically Trojans, backdoors, and vintage Remote Access Trojans that have made a lasting impression since the late '90s. This project resonates with many enthusiasts who, like me, have been captivated by these artful digital creations.
As some of you may already be aware, I have been working on a series of articles under the title "Malware Retrospective." The Malware Gallery aims to complement this series and vice versa. The objective is twofold: to evoke nostalgia and memories for those who were familiar with these software pieces back in the day, and to offer a glimpse into the world of malware from the late '90s and early 2000s for those who didn't have that experience.
Just as the history of our civilization holds importance, so does the history of malicious software, especially for those closely or tangentially interested in information security.
Currently in beta, Malware Gallery is still evolving, primarily due to the limited content available at this time. Accumulating a comprehensive library of entries, complete with relevant information and images for each release, is a time-intensive process. Rest assured, I am diligently working to regularly update the platform with new releases and entries. Thank you for your patience.
